Stocks are quiet today. Positive housing data has provided a small
boost. Housing starts surged and real
estate prices were up slightly. Oil and
gold are near unchanged. Interest rates
are stable. Consumer confidence fell
slightly and was below expectations. Don't expect much movement in this holiday
shortened week.
