It is quiet today. Most markets are near unchanged. Investors seem hesitant to commit to mostly
positive news from the US economy.
Europe is solid this morning, with Spain continuing to be the main topic
as it looks to seeking a bailout from the ECB.
October is a sometimes volatile month hence the hesitancy to commit at
this point. Stories of a possible
arrangement to avoid the fiscal cliff are leaking out setting a more positive
tone to that lingering uncertainty.
Expect a slow advance as the day wears on.
